BOOK REVIEW: Firefight by Brandon Sanderson

BOOK REVIEW: Firefight by Brandon Sanderson

Sequel to Sanderson's Steelheart, this story follows David's quest to rid the world of tyrannical superheroes. He and his team end up in old New York, which has been flooded by the evil Epic Regalia. Can he save his team before they fall into Regalia's trap while also wooing the girl he loves (who his team also hates)? You've got to read it to find out!

I feel like I should have a label just for Brandon Sanderson books because I love his stories so much! He said he writes hundreds of pages of background notes on any book and such planning shows through in the awesome details.

I laughed at David, the quirky main character, and get lost in the setting, which is so vibrant that it's a character on its own. I'm DYING to have to wait until spring 2016 for the next in this series to come out! If you like action, romance and being surprised at how the story ends, this one is for you. Rated PG-13 for violence and 4.7 stars.
