BOOK REVIEW: Beyond Orion by Laura D. Bastian

BOOK REVIEW: Beyond Orion by Laura D. Bastian

The book after Eye on Orion, this book follows princess Amira back to her home planet. I was a little disappointed it wasn't about Holly anymore, but Amira holds her own charms. Her father gifts her the power to rule the kingdom only moments before he dies, though she finds she still needs to fight for authority with the counsel, who takes matters into their own hands. On top of finding herself in an arranged marriage, she must choose between him or her kingdom.

The ending was abrupt, but as the middle "bridge" book in this trilogy it is forgivable. I can't wait for the last in the series to see how Amira will resolve her problems and what she will do with her adorable (if a bit too perfect) hubby. Rated G and 4 stars. Way to go, Bastian!
